Questions and answers

What companies ask on the first call. If your question is missing, write to me; I will answer and add it here.

Working together

Do you need access to our data?

To work on the system, yes, like any administrator. For the audit, no: a screen-sharing call is enough. Access is always through a separate, named account that you can switch off at any time.

What is the response time?

For ongoing support we agree it in the contract, usually the next business day, with urgent issues the same day. For single jobs I reply within one business day and give you a date.

We still have a contract with the implementation partner.

I can work alongside them: they take the large projects, I take the day-to-day. We split the scope in writing.

How many hours a month does a small company need?

Usually 4 to 12. Fewer if the system is tidy. More in the first months, while we catch up on the backlog.

Do you work remotely?

Yes, fully remote. On-site meetings for larger projects, by arrangement.

What happens when we stop working together?

I hand back access and leave the documentation and a system inventory. The next person does not start from zero.

System and costs

What if the system is in bad shape?

I start with a review and a prioritised list of things to fix. I do not rebuild everything from scratch. I fix what blocks your work.

Do we need extra licences?

Not for support. Salesforce AI features (Agentforce, Einstein) need licences. I check what you have before proposing anything, and whether you are paying for licences nobody uses.

What does it cost?

Quoted after a call, depending on scope. A single job with a price up front, a block of hours, ongoing support with a monthly pool, or a fixed-price project. I bill for time worked, with a VAT invoice.

What about our WordPress site?

I look after the site too: changes, updates, forms into Salesforce. A separate site about CRM and integrations.

Audit and AI

Is there a catch in the free audit?

No. After the report I propose further work. You can decline and keep the report.

Is the audit safe?

I do not process your personal data on my side. The report contains the names of settings and numbers. On request, a non-disclosure agreement before the call.

We do not have AI in Salesforce yet.

That is the best time for an audit. It shows what to tidy up before you switch anything on.

Will our data be used to train models?

The Einstein Trust Layer and the API vendors’ terms say no. I check the settings and record them in the implementation documentation.

An employee has already connected ChatGPT to Salesforce.

A common case. I replace it with a separate user with a limited scope and switch off unnecessary tokens. More in this piece.

Have Salesforce and a list of things that are waiting? Tell me what needs doing.

I reply within one business day. The first call is free of obligation.
