How I work

On what you have. In small steps. On a separate account. For time worked. With a note after every change.

Six principles

  • On what you have. I do not rebuild systems from scratch. I fix and extend what works.
  • In small steps. Every change checked, with a backup and a way back.
  • On a separate account. Named access, only to what is needed. Handed back at the end.
  • In plain language. Options with pros and cons instead of one right answer. No jargon unless you want it.
  • For time worked. Single jobs, blocks of hours or ongoing support. Quoted per case.
  • With notes. I write down what I did and why, so the next person does not start from zero.

Ways of working together

Quoted after a call, depending on scope. All amounts net, VAT invoice.

  • A single change

Quoted up front, delivered within days. For companies with one thing to sort out.

  • A block of hours

Hours paid up front, valid for a few months. For companies that come back every few weeks.

  • Ongoing support

A monthly pool of hours, a response time in the contract, a quarterly review. For companies that want someone on hand.

  • A fixed-price project

An integration, a migration, a larger change. Scope in writing after analysis, a deposit before the start.

  • System review

One-off, with a report and a quote for the fixes.

  • Free pre-AI audit

10 checks without access to the system. Up to 4 a month.

Access security

  • A separate, named account in every system. No shared logins. You can switch it off at any time.
  • Multi-factor authentication on every account I use.
  • Passwords in a password manager, never in email or chat.
  • Changes on a copy first (sandbox), then in production. For small changes: a backup and a way back.
  • A non-disclosure agreement on request before the first access. A data processing agreement where the GDPR requires it.
  • At the end of our work I hand back access and an inventory of what is where.

What a request looks like

  1. You raise an issue

Email, form or a message on Teams. In plain words, no technical names needed.

  2. I confirm and quote

Within one business day: what I will do, how long it takes, when it will be ready.

  3. I do the work

On a copy, then in production. If something turns out bigger than it looked, I say so before exceeding the quote.

  4. I show and write it down

A short note on what changed and how to use it. An entry in the documentation on your side.

Someone by the hour or an implementation partner?

For a company that needs a few hours a month, what counts is response time, cost and whether anyone remembers your system.

Questions about working together

How do you bill time?

In half-hour blocks, with a list of work done on the invoice or in the monthly report. A one-hour minimum for a single job.

Do we sign a contract?

For ongoing support and projects, yes: scope, response time, confidentiality, personal data. For single jobs, confirmation by email is enough.

What if we need something urgently?

With ongoing support I handle urgent issues the same day. Outside support I try to help, but I do not promise a deadline I cannot keep.

Do you work remotely?

Yes, fully remote. On-site meetings for larger projects, by arrangement.

What happens when we stop working together?

I hand back access and leave the documentation and a system inventory. The next person does not start from zero.

Have Salesforce and a list of things that are waiting? Tell me what needs doing.

I reply within one business day. The first call is free of obligation.
